The documents are there.
The connections take work.

A policy in one folder. Evidence in another. The reasoning in someone’s head. Every review, handover or business change asks your team to piece the program together again.

Livy is being built to help your team keep those connections.

A clearer picture.
A practical way forward.

Bring your existing program. Follow one example from business context to a record your team can reuse.

Your actual business

Put the program
in context.

Start with the materials your team already maintains. Connect the program to your products, customers and operations. Keep facts that still need confirmation visible.

Illustrative workflow. Specific software capabilities and assisted work are agreed before a pilot.

Clarity and control, with a basis.

Expertise that stays
with the business.

The repeatable parts of professional methodology belong in the work itself. Sources, reasoning and responsibility should remain visible as your program develops.

01

Show the basis.

Make sources, assumptions and the reasoning behind a judgement available for inspection.

02

Keep uncertainty visible.

Missing information, missing evidence and a confirmed issue mean different things. Preserve those distinctions.

03

People remain accountable.

AI can support analysis and drafting. Material judgements and approvals stay with responsible people.

Built around
your reality.

A lean team. An evolving business.
A program you already care about.

We’re starting with Canadian payments companies and fintechs improving their existing FINTRAC AML programs. Your current materials and priorities shape the pilot.

Keep what already works.

Start from the policies, assessments and knowledge your team has built. Preserve useful work and identify what needs attention.

Fit alongside your systems.

Livy focuses on the compliance program. Screening, transaction monitoring and filing remain with your operating systems.

Agree on a useful scope.

Define the inputs, software capabilities, assisted work and intended outputs together before the pilot begins.

The same problem.
Two independent starts.

Strong compliance should not depend on the size of your team.

Michael and Sam had experienced the same problem in compliance for a long time. Each independently began building a prototype. When they discovered they were building the same product, they decided to join forces.

A few useful distinctions

Before we talk.

Who is Livy for?

Our initial focus is lean compliance teams at Canadian payments companies and fintechs improving an existing FINTRAC AML program. Building new programs and broader financial compliance are part of the longer-term direction.

Is Livy a transaction monitoring tool?

Livy focuses on how the compliance program is organised, reviewed and operated: business context, obligations, controls, accountable work and evidence. Screening, transaction monitoring, investigations and filing remain separate operating systems.

How is this different from asking an AI to draft a policy?

A useful draft is one part of the work. Livy is being built to retain the relationships between your business, the program, the people responsible and the evidence behind decisions, so that context can be reviewed and reused over time.

What does a private pilot involve?

We first discuss your current program and priorities. Together, we agree on the inputs, scope, software capabilities, assisted work and intended outputs. Founding partners receive direct support from Sam and Michael until the agreed program setup is complete. Commercial and support terms are agreed separately.

Does Livy make compliance decisions for us?

Material judgements and approvals remain with accountable people. AI supports organising information, analysis and drafting. The basis, assumptions and limitations should remain available for review.

Let’s start with your program.

you have today.

Tell us what already works and where your team needs support. We’ll discuss whether Livy’s private pilot is a fit.
